Africheza is a leading football academy based at the Oshwal Centre in the Westlands district of Nairobi, with programmes for boys and girls aged from 3 to 18, drawing players from across the Kenyan capital.
Founded by Suraj Shah and Navneet Sura, alongside professional goalkeeper Arnold Origi, they offer a model of training that is player centred and focused on the holistic growth of the child. Africheza teams have a common methodology and style of play. The coaches use their vast experience of football in the UK and Europe to deliver a programme that also utilises sport science and psychology to help players unlock their potential.
Suraj is an English FA qualified Level 2 coach with an in-depth knowledge of coaching and player development.
Navneet is also a qualified coach who holds a degree in Psychology and is an experienced Cognitive Trainer, helping players to develop the mental side of the game.
Arnold has played over 300 professional games, both in Europe and for the Kenyan national team. He is a UEFA B licence holder, and splits his time between Kenya and Scandinavia, where he works as a goalkeeper coach.
Africheza partners with Andrew Walker Education to provide parents and players with UK schools with football academies for the next stage of education and player development.
